The California Beach Volleyball Association (CBVA) is a nonprofit California Corporation which has nurtured, sponsored and promoted beach volleyball since 1965.

The CBVA is synonymous with beach volleyball and is celebrating its 4th decade of developing and promoting the fast-growing sport of outdoor volleyball at the grassroots level. The CBVA is responsible for the scheduling, rule-making and promoting of amateur outdoor volleyball in California.

The CBVA provides an unparalleled amateur training ground for international and professional sports! The tournaments take place throughout the entire year, with the majority of events happening in the spring and summer months.

This nonprofit corporation is composed of responsible people, united for the common purpose of promoting volleyball by conducting outdoor volleyball events in an effective and professional manner while striving for the highest possible standards for players, tournament directors, members and sponsors.
