WELCOME TO CBVA JUNIOR BEACH VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT PROGRAM. LOCATIONS: George Stepanof Courts at Ocean Beach (5199 Brighton Ave, SD 92107), and Wave VBC Courts (15555 Jimmy Durante Blvd, Del Mar, Ca 92014) Parking is free. Ocean Beach tends to fill up by 8:30 on Sunday. Plenty of parking at Wave VBC. COVID-19 PROTOCOLS: Social distancing encouraged, but not required. We will offer hand sanitizers at check for players and families. CBVA will provide face masks, wipes and hand sanitizers at the director tent and court areas. ON THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT. Check in will begin at 8:15. At 9:00 teams will meet at the Director's Tent for instruction. We will go over tournament rules, and format which will be pool play and playoffs. Playoffs normally start at 2:00 and the tournament should end around 4:30. WHAT TO BRING: Please bring lunch and plenty of water. We recommend a beach chair, umbrella, beach towel and sun screen. PARENTS/COACHES: Coaching is only allowed before and after a game, and during one minute time out. Only one time out per team. Technical time outs at either 21 or 28 points. SPORTSMANSHIP: Poor sportsmanship will not be tolerated by players, coaches and parents. CANCELLATION/REFUNDS: The deadline to cancel and receive a refund is 12:00 pm the day before the tournament. NO EXCEPTIONS.
